The work-at-home Microsoft Vista operating system we sell is the ‘Enterprise’ version. For all versions of Vista on the market, there are certain recommended levels of hardware requirements your computer should meet for using this operating system. The information below comes from Microsoft:
Minimum Supported Requirements
Recommended Requirements
All Versions – ‘Vista Capable’
Enterprise Version – ‘Premium Ready’
    800 MHz processor
    512 MB system memory (RAM)
    20 GB hard drive with at least 15 GB of available space
    Support for Super VGA graphics
    CD-ROM Drive
    1 GHZ 32-bit or 64-bit processor
    1 GB system memory (RAM)
    40 GB hard drive with at least 15 GB of available space
    Support for DirectX 9 graphics with:
        WDDM driver
        128 MB graphics memory (minimum)
        Pixel Shader 2.0 in hardware
        32 bits per pixel
    DVD-ROM
    Audio Output
    Internet Access
